Family Service Welcomes Homeless Shelter Staff and Volunteers to our Family

Family Service is excited to announce that as of today,  the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter is now a program of Family Service. It will continue to operate as-is while a transition of management takes effect.

The transition will take several months and Family Service leadership is looking forward to working with the shelter staff as future plans are made.  The shelter will become one of the many community-based programs of Family Service. “During the transition we will review procedures, policies, staffing, technology, and the volunteer and donation programs that currently exist at the shelter,” says Audrey J. Tucker, Chief Executive Officer of Family Service. “We will find out what is working and will gain insight into what we can do to make improvements as we find out what is needed.”
