Family Service hosts two major donation drives each year to meet the high volume of need during the back to school and holiday seasons. We also accept food, clothing and other new items throughout the year.
Please contact Anne Marie Richards at arichards@fsabc.org prior to soliciting or collecting any in-kind donations on behalf of Family Service Association of Bucks County. All drives, as well as use of the Family Service name and logo, must be pre-approved. Any item that is not listed or is determined by Family Service to be unacceptable may be discarded or resold to benefit programs and services.
Back to School Drive
You can help children in need return to school with pride and confidence. Donate new clothes, backpacks and supplies, or volunteer to help organize and fill backpacks.
Get involved:
- Donate items for one child
- Sponsor several children (great option for groups/companies)
- Volunteer to fill and expedite backpacks
- Make a monetary donation
Detailed information about the Back to School Drive is available in June of each year. Please contact Anne Marie Richards at arichards@fsabc.org if you would like to receive more information about the program.
Holiday Gift Drive
The holiday season can be a very difficult time of the year for individuals and families in need. We collect new, unwrapped gifts for children and teens. We put the donations on display and allow people who are actively working with Family Service to select gifts for their children.
Get involved:
- Purchase and donate gifts
- Lead a drive at your workplace, house of worship or in your neighborhood
- Volunteer to sort donations and/or help people choose gifts
- Make a monetary donation
Detailed information about the Holiday Drive is available in October of each year. Please contact Anne Marie Richards at arichards@fsabc.org if you would like to receive more information about the program.
