Family Service Association CONTACT Helpline Volunteers are expected to:

1. Complete a 24 hour training class (4 hours/week for 6 weeks)
2. Complete four 4-hour apprenticeship shifts
3. Commit to volunteer at least three 4-hour shifts per month for at least one year
4. Communicate with callers only by phone and only during volunteer hours
