Coffee House

Helping people with disabilities lead more independent lives

We offer a Coffee House socialization program specifically for young adults with disabilities such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Social Anxiety and other mental health disorders. The goal of Coffee House is to help you gain social comfort and make connections with other young people. Programming includes:

  • Organized activities
  • Discussion groups
  • Guest speakers
  • Casual conversation

To participate in Coffee House, you must:

  • Be a high school graduate and be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a disability such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Asperger’s Syndrome, PDD-NOS or High Functioning Autism, Social Anxiety, a Learning Disability or another mental health diagnosis
  • Be able to attend programs independently and navigate adjoining mall without support
  • Demonstrate motivation to participate and agree to adhere to program expectations which will be explained upon admission


Over 75% of adults with Asperger’s Syndrome do not hold a full-time job.
