The Makefield Women’s Association (MWA) announced that they have surpassed a fundraising milestone of over $200,000 in donations to local non profits in the past ten years. The group will celebrate at their April membership meeting where this year’s proceeds will be distributed to their annual beneficiaries. Recipients include A Woman’s Place, Penndel Food Pantry, Family Services Bucks County Homeless Shelter, Wrapping Presence, Yardley-Makefield Fire Company, and Pennsbury Scholarships.

MWA members look forward to the April meeting because it is an opportunity to hear directly from their beneficiaries about how the proceeds from MWA’s annual fundraising efforts will be used to help their causes.
