Corporate Matching Gifts
Many corporations match employees’ gifts to nonprofit organizations such as Family Service Association. This is a fantastic way to double, or even triple, your gift to Family Service. Contact your company’s Human Resources Department to see if they are a matching gift company.
Securities
Donating appreciated stock and other securities is a great way to give to Family Service – and benefits both you and Family Service. You may be able to deduct the full fair market value of the stock as a charitable contribution and can bypass all capital gains taxes (assuming you have owned the stock for more than one year). Please consult with your tax advisor.
Endowment Fund
You can help us ensure long-term success and the fulfillment of the mission of the Family Service Association by investing in its future. The gifts that we are entrusted to us will be carefully tended for long-term growth and maximum impact upon our mission. By including Family Service Association in your will, trust or other estate plans, you can leave a legacy of support for future generations of children and families in our community. Giving through your will in a bequest, IRA, naming Family Service as the beneficiary of your life insurance policy, or proceeds from the sale of stock are all important ways to ensure the mission of Family Service for years to come.
