Highlights from our Annual Meeting
At it’s Celebration of Families & Communities the Family Service Association Board of Directors thanked all those who have supported our families over the course of the past year. The Board also honored its 2012 Corporate Citizen of the Year, Family Builder of the Year and Family of the Year.

Board President Betsy Rendall (far right) presents the award for Family Builder of the Year to St. Mary Medical Center who has been an important partner with Family Service Association in making safe, family friendly improvements at the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter this past year. Pictured L to R accepting for St. Mary, Terri Rivera, VP of Community Health, Kelly Pagliei, Manager of the Parenting Center, Lillian Schonewolf, Director of Volunteers, Greg Wozniak, President and Chief Executive Officer. “It is always a pleasure working with Audrey [Tucker]and her team at Family Service,” said Wozniak during his acceptance speech. “We know working together we can really make a difference in our community.”

We’re proud of the strides we’ve made in improving the lives of Bucks County residents who are involved with this very worthy organization,” stated Jeter.

Board President, Betsy Rendall presents the award for Family of the Year to David and Kim Andress. David and Kim are utilizing all the services available to them at the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter and FSA to get back on their feet to live in safe, stable housing. “We, like others at the Shelter, are good people down on their luck; homeless by circumstance. We are definitely not looking for a hand out, but a hand up. We need your help in eliminating homelessness in Bucks County and beyond,” state David.
